Basic Function
Centered on continuous improvement, the Senior Manufacturing Technician will serve as the Department’s expert in performing all service, repair, and maintenance, as well as, day to day manufacturing support for the production team including the cleanrooms, general assembly, and the facility. This position is also responsible for complying with the Imricor Quality Management System requirements and carrying out responsibilities as outlined in the environmental, health, and safety policies.
Location: Must be able to work in the Burnsville, MN office
Compensation: The expected base compensation range for this Minnesota-based position is $28-$47 and hour. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and or experience. Responsibilities
- Performs planned and unplanned maintenance, repair, and service for all manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures.
- Supports the production team with their responsibilities in the cleanroom; by using SolidWorks for projects, designing and implementing manufacturing tools/fixtures that are aimed at process improvement.
- Establishes and maintains all maintenance procedures, records, and work orders.
- Establishes and maintains spare parts program for all relevant equipment.
- Investigates and troubleshoots equipment problems and gathers relevant information to make informed decisions on the next steps including escalation.
- Becomes proficient at using GagePack to manage all Equipment maintenance.
- Supports the Engineering team and carry out various tests and protocols.
- Performs facility maintenance for both Gateway and Design Center locations when needed.
- Support safety audits or operations when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years’ experience working in a medical device manufacturing (regulated) industry.
- High school diploma, Associate degree, technical degree or some college coursework desired.
- Experience with electro-mechanical troubleshooting, repair skills and the use of hand tools.
- Proficient with SolidWorks for designing small fixtures and tools.
- Proven track record of performing independent investigational and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of documentation requirements.
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to work effectively in high demand situations.
