Basic Function
The Production Manager position is responsible for hiring and managing a best-in-class manufacturing team focused on teamwork, quality and productivity. They will also serve as Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement champions across the company. This position is responsible for complying with the Quality System requirements and carrying out responsibilities outlined in the environmental, health, and safety policies.
Location: Must be able to work at Burnsville Location.
Compensation: The expected salary/wage for this Minnesota-based position is between $110,000-$150,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, and Retirement Benefits).
Responsibilities
- Establishes and manages production goals and creates a highly motivated and effective production environment.
- Creates and manages training programs for all production processes.
- Optimizes product handling, workflow, and line balance.
- Hires and manages a best-in-class manufacturing team for all Imricor manufactured products.
- Collaborates with the Operations and Quality team on Lean Manufacturing Principles resulting in continuous improvement practices.
- Works with the Supply Chain team on establishing production and capacity plans.
- Manages and communicates reporting for Key Performance Measures in production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in management, manufacturing, production or another related field.
- 7+ years’ experience working in a production environment. Experience in a medical device environment preferred.
- 1-3 years supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Proven track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Detailed oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally or in writing.
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
