(ASX:IMR) Imricor, the global leader in real-time interventional cardiac magnetic resonance (iCMR) ablation products, is pleased announce it has entered into a non-exclusive software distribution agreement with ADAS 3D Medical S.L. (ADAS 3D Medical) a leading developer of imaging solutions for the electrophysiology (EP) market.
Under the terms of the agreement, Imricor will offer the ADAS 3D software for sale in its iCMR ablation product suite. By pairing the ADAS 3D Medical software with Imricor’s upcoming NorthStar 3D Mapping System, Imricor strengthens its position as a premier provider of state-of-the-art solutions within the cardiac ablation field.
ADAS 3D software can create 3D shells of heart chambers from MRI images, which in turn, can be immediately uploaded into Imricor’s NorthStar 3D mapping system during the procedure. In addition, ADAS 3D software identifies fibrosis in the myocardium, helping to guide treatment.
The ADAS 3D Medical software image processing and visualization features combined with Imricor’s NorthStar 3D mapping system are an important part of Imricor’s upcoming VISABL-VT trial, which is expected to begin shortly in Europe. Ventricular Tachycardia (VT) catheter ablations are complex procedures where reducing procedure times and improving efficacy are key value drivers for patients, physicians, and hospitals.
