10 November 2019 – Minneapolis, MN – Imricor Medical Systems, Inc. (ASX:IMR), a leading developer of innovative MRI-compatible medical devices, announced today Nick Twohy has joined the company’s executive team as the Director of Marketing.
“I was attracted by the opportunity to build a new segment in the ablation space and the commitment Steve and the team have to improving the efficacy of ablation therapy for patients,” Twohy said. “I believe that the future of ablation is in MRI guidance and Imricor is at the forefront in this space.”
In this newly created role, Twohy will oversee global portfolio management, including the product roadmap, product management, marketing teams, and communications.
Twohy comes to Imricor with over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. Most recently Twohy worked as the International Marketing Director for Medtronic, plc (MDT) in the Cardiac Resynchronization Therapies business. There, he led business planning and execution for the International markets. Prior to that role, Twohy led multiple product launches at Medtronic including various launches in the CareLink remote monitoring business, and in the Cardiac Rhythm Management business where he led the US launch of the Revo MRI pacemaker system.
